Disney’s BoardWalk

Reminiscent of the classic boardwalks of the northeast, Disney’s BoardWalk is every bit a charming village stroll that brings to mind the best of Atlantic City or Coney Island. Nestled against the gleaming waters of Crescent Lake, the BoardWalk is 9,000 square feet of dining, entertainment and shopping excitement. From ice cream colored buildings to striped awnings and glittering arches, Disney’s BoardWalk is a beautiful place to take in the Walt Disney World sunshine during the day while visitors at night will enjoy glistening lights on the water’s edge, live entertainment and midway games that will delight every member of the family.

Entertainment at Disney’s BoardWalk.

While street performers fill the sidewalks with entertaining and amusing shows, live entertainment can also be found at one of two adults’ only clubs, Jellyrolls and the Atlantic Dance Hall. Jellyrolls is a piano bar offering sultry music and intimate dancing while the Atlantic Dance Hall is a nightclub with great live bands and top line DJs spinning the best tunes as you dance the night away!

Whether you prefer micro brews or sports bars, Disney’s BoardWalk has it all. Check out the Big River Grille and Brewing Works for the only microbrewery at Walt Disney World Resort or catch one of the 100 big screens at the ESPN Club, offering round the clock sports action and casual dining in a comfortable, yet high energy atmosphere. Seafood lovers won’t want to miss the Flying Fish Café, a specialty restaurant offering the best and freshest catches of the day prepared on stage in front of dining guests.

Casual diners will want to try Spoodles, a Mediterranean themed restaurant offering fresh pizza, flatbreads and salads, while visitors with that late night sweet tooth should make sure they stop by Seashore Sweets or the BoardWalk Bakery.

Shopping at Disney’s BoardWalk.

You won’t want to go home without that favorite Disney souvenir and the BoardWalk has something for everyone. Character hats, t-shirts and memorabilia can be found at the BoardWalk Character Carnival while sports fans should make the ESPN Club Store tops on their list. Specialty items can be found at Wyland Galleries and Thimbles and Thread, while general souvenirs are available at the Screen Door General Store, Dundy’s Sundries Shop and On the Boardwalk. Make sure you bring an empty suitcase with you to Walt Disney World Resort because you won’t leave the BoardWalk empty handed!

Getting To Disney's BoardWalk.

Disney BoardWalk is about a 0.5 mile walking distance from the International Gateway to Epcot and about 1 mile from Disney Hollywood Studios. Although some nightlife venues may charge cover fees, entrance to the BoardWalk is Free and parking is complimentary as well. Visiting BoardWalk is both an affordable and an entertaining way to enjoy the aura of Disney World Orlando.

Disney Hotel or Resort Guests.

Transportation to BoardWalk is complimentary for Walt Disney World property hotel and resort guests by way of bus or boat.

From Theme Parks. Catch the bus to the BoardWalk Inn. Walk through the lobby and boom, you're at BoardWalk.

From Hollywood Studios, Epcot, Yacht & Beach Club, Swan/Dolphin. Catch the Friendship Boat to and from BoardWalk.

Directions By Car.

Take I-4 to Exit 64-B (Epcot). Take 2nd exit (Epcot & Hollywood Studios). Turn right at 4th traffic signal. Disney Boardwalk will be on the left.
